Job Description - AFR Associate I

Reporting on cargo filing status for Japan filing rules to prevent countries from any possible fines and fees which might be raised by the Japanese Authorities (NACCS) because of missing and/or incorrect cargo filings. This report is being sent global operational management team on AFR (Advance Filing Rule) performance.
Daily checking all filed AFR (Advance Filing Rule) for any system or human made errors.
Communicate with origin (export) offices on error causes and provide feasible solution before AFR cutoff date.
Tracking any missing files by compare existing file created on the systems with data provided on tools to be uploaded on the SharePoint.
Support any inquiry or question related to AFR and its procedure on how it will be accepted on the system.
If possible, analyze the performance and operation issue. Communicate with Head Office, global MDM team or other corporate management teams on system related issue, and/or give suggestions on improvement.
Coordination & troubleshooting with Japan Customs / Ministry of Finance / Ocean carriers, agent & import ops in JP (can be done with help of our Heads of Ops if Japanese required)
To generate a Monthly Performance Report of submitted Cargo Manifest or ACR filing of all the origins/counterpart and will be sent to all the required Stakeholders.

Must have a bachelor's degree in logistics /supply chain and any related field.
Should have logistics/supply chain background.
Strong analytical skills
Logical and with high common sense
Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office applications
Meticulous, numbers driven, focused and structured working style, efficient and excellent time management skills.
Can work effectively under pressure.
Good and positive attitude
Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
