Objective
We're offering an exciting opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer within our organization to lead the finance function and contribute to the success of one of the top 3 logistics players in the Philippines. Reporting directly to the Group President and closely collaborating with the Chief of Staff, the CFO will provide strategic financial analysis, oversee all financial activities, and drive financial strategy and planning for the business. With our aggressive growth plans, the CFO will spearhead strategic M&A activities and lead our journey towards potential public listing. The organization consists of two business units a leading logistics provider and the top FMCG distributor in the Philippines.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance.
- Ensure good governance and compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Lead operational and organizational transformations.
- Foster collaboration across departments for financial alignment.
- Attract, retain, and develop top financial talent.
Finance Operations Management and Transformation
- Oversee accounting, treasury, and tax functions.
- Design and implement financial processes and systems.
- Lead operational and organizational transformations.
- Ensure integrity of accounting operations and internal controls.
- Implement financial systems to support scalability.
Financial Strategy
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy.
- Collaborate with C-level executives to optimize financial performance.
- Lead financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversee capital structure and tax strategies.
Financial Reporting and Analysis (FP&A)
- Prepare and distribute timely and accurate financial reports.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess business performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify cost drivers and areas for efficiency improvements.
Cost Control and Management
- Develop and implement cost control strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost drivers.
Treasury and Cash Flow Management
- Manage capital structure and liquidity position.
- Develop strategies to improve working capital efficiency.
- Assess and manage debt and equity financing options.
Stakeholder and Lender Management
- Communicate financial reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with investors, banks, and auditors.
Capex Management
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing capital allocation.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditures.
- Establish metrics to measure the impact of capex investments.
Risk Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy.
- Identify potential financial threats and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Experience/Qualification Requirements
- 15+ years of experience as a CFO in a large multinational company.
- Demonstrated leadership and engagement with senior management.
- Experience in leading finance operational transformations.
- Strong focus on execution and attention to detail.
- Logistics experience is advantageous.
