The client is a global logistics company based in Swiss, who provides specialised solutions to major industries worldwide. In 1977, they established their company in the Philippines to support their global operations. Their office, for this role, is located in Cebu City.

Job Description

The finance manager is responsible for:

• Prepare monthly invoicing of GS services (using Netinsight)
• Create the monthly, quarterly, yearly P&L, B/S review, pricing reviews, and other analysis
• Arrange the management, statutory, and tax accounts in line with the necessary standards
• Ensure the regulatory matters of statutory bodies and the compliance of internal guidelines
• Contribute to key strategic and commercial decisions with the prepared forecasts and other analysis
• Develop effective partnerships and relationships with support finance team and key stakeholders
• Drive profitability and productivity with BU managers
• Discuss regularly with top management on the financial decisions of the company
• Lead and support development of new business initiatives (i.e. financial analysis of investments, etc.)
• Manage and develop the finance team

The Successful Applicant

The finance manager is/has:

• 5-7 years of experience in a finance/controlling area of an international company in the Logistics industry
• Preferably qualified chartered accountants (CAP/CA/CMA/MBA)
• Extensive knowledge on strategic planning and target setting processes
• Knowledgeable in using accounting, reporting, and service charging systems (ACON+, Business Objects, Netinsight)
• Advanced experience with Excel
• Great communication and leadership skills
• Flexible, highly-analytic, and pro-active
• Fluent in English
• Able to work in Cebu City
