Responsibilities
• Utilize warehouse management system to ascertain item number, size, color, and quantity of inventory • Provide oversight and direction to inventory control processes • Lead cross-functional teams to solve operational problems • Maintain key KPIs and strive to improve processes • Conduct proper manpower planning • Constantly look for innovative ways to maintain/reduce cost per order • Strive to improve and streamline processes • Share and promote best practices with colleagues and network
Requirements
• Hold a degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or Business Administration • Minimum 3 years previous experience as a manager in a distribution center or logistics warehouse • Great teammate with experience in motivating others • Problem-solving and analytical capabilities • Quick thinker able to act tactfully in a dynamic environment • Willing and able to work flexible schedules and shifts • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies preferred • Experience in ecommerce fulfillment highly desired • Clear and effective communication skills • Ability to work with ambiguity and changing priorities • Strong analytical skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills preferred • Ability to challenge the status quo
