Jr. Label Development & Regulatory Compliance Specialist
The Junior Label Development & Regulatory Compliance Specialist main function is to ensure compliance of different label formats in reference to established reference standards, applicable mandatory regulatory requirements and management directives. Label formats includes customized label layouts, references and label formats to be used by operations. The position is also responsible in performing review of monthly regulatory updates report and label compliance documents processed by Regulatory Compliance team. Also act as the document control officer of the R&D Label Development & Regulatory Compliance.

DUTIES:
1. Knowledgeable with applicable mandatory labeling requirements, established label references, client printing instructions and management directives, review label formats ensuring compliance. Label formats includes customized label layouts, reference, carton labels and label formats to be used by operations.
2. Supportive to operational objectives and motivated to have an efficient operational processes, regularly coordinate with Logistics department for any new or depleted labels and update labels and label guide for the reference of Supply Chain's material planning.
3. Equipped with the knowledge on procedure regulatory updating, review monthly regulatory updates ensuring that relevant regulatory trends, articles and news are properly and correctly captured for the reference and use of the section, the food safety teams, the department and the organization.
4. Knowledgeable with applicable mandatory labeling requirements, established label references, client printing instructions, review export compliance documents ensuring compliance and alignment with processed and designated labels.
5. Guided by the established regulatory and label compliance standards and procedures, review, evaluate and recommend disposition to any label compliance concerns and/or requirements.
6. Having a good monitoring skills and knowledgeable in using computer spreadsheet applications, effectively and timely monitor all label compliance and regulatory compliance processes ensuring data availability for performance review, evaluation and analyses.
7. Equipped with knowledge on different Quality Tools and understanding of performance measures and methods of analysis, evaluate effectiveness of the label compliance and regulatory compliance standards, specifications, procedures and/or process implementation. Generate label compliance performance reports in reference to the defined frequency and format.
8. Ensuring to follow the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) and/or Standardize-Do-check-Act (SDCA) model, continuously improve label compliance standards, specification and/or procedures using audit and verification results as inputs.
9. With background in performing root cause analysis using different approaches and models and strongly motivated to determine the root cause of any identified label noncompliance, objectively review and investigate process implementation for any identified quality and food safety deviation.
10. Aiming for efficiency and continuous improvement of the label compliance processes, propose and/or spearhead projects for label compliance standards, specifications and/or procedures and implementations.
11. Driven to achieve quality and food safety objectives, participate to any food safety teams and technical discussions and provide inputs for label compliance standards, specifications and/or procedures and implementations.
12. Embodying ownership and responsibility on the designated function and processes, participate in any internal or external system, audit related to label compliance standards, specifications and/or procedures and implementations.
13. Having the drive to prevent re-occurrence of any identified label compliance deviations, ensure that all determined corrective actions are properly, effectively and continuously implemented. Perform monitoring if necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in any Food Science, Biology, Chemistry related course in Food Labeling credentials or any Consumer Science related course;
With background in food labeling regulation and/or has at least one year experience in food manufacturing with tasks related to food labeling specific to label information review for compliance.
Detail-oriented who has a passion for learning and acquiring knowledge; Must have good verbal and written communication skills; Integrity and professional ethics; Attention to details with solid analytical skills; Can work with minimal supervision, computer literate and accomplish tasks even under pressure.
Required Special Skills:
Knowledgeable in any layout editing software
Above average to Excellent in using MS Applications.

Salary: Php 25,000.00 – Php28,000.00 per month
