Job Description - Logistics Coordinator

With more than 6,000 professionals across 9 delivery centers in the Philippines, MicroSourcing remains the country's largest provider of offshoring solutions. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for

  • Reporting to the Order Fulfillment Manager you will work with Fulfillment Coordinators to ensure all communication is seamless and shipment scheduling is optimized.
  • Work with warehouse/shipping team on delays, shortage, and early availability to manage and maintain set shipping schedule. Overall shipment to be managed in line with set deadlines to ensure successful execution of shipment.
  • Daily review with Production, procurement, and warehouse of schedules
  • Shipment status reporting: Review and daily monitoring, ensures all measurements standards are met.
  • Audit scheduling process and determine root cause of OTIF issues.
  • Tracking carrier and customer shipment issues and providing corrective actions needed to be communicated to the Order Fulfillment Manager.
  • Research and review customer shipping requirements and communicate to warehouse any changes necessary.
  • Work with warehouse/shipping team on delays, shortage, and early availability to manage and maintain set shipping schedule.
  • Tracking international shipments for their confirmed delivery dates.
  • Knowledge of required documentation for all parties relevant to each order and purpose.
  • Overall shipment to be managed in line with set deadlines to ensure successful execution of shipment.
  • Processes all documents in accordance with carriers, customs and customers in a timely manner and meeting the standards requirements. Included but not limited too prepare Ocean Bill of Lading, House Bill of Lading, proof master Bill of Lading, Dangerous Good Declaration, Bill railing, pre-advise terminals, carriers, etc. .
  • Consistent and timely communication of the shipment status, extra charge details and issues to customers, sales, and overseas offices. That also includes sending the documentation and final details to the destination office.
  • Shipment status reporting: Review and daily monitoring, ensures all measurements standards are met.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What it takes to be part of our team:
  • 3 years of work experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
  • 3 years of logistics scheduling including import/export.
  • Previous experience in dealing with 3PL.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize demands.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience with SageX3 preferred.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Business degree preferred
  • Amenable to working on a night shift
  • Can work onsite in Eastwood, Libis, QC
