About the Role

As a Partnerships & Operations Associate, you will be part of an innovative cross-functional team working to transform the delivery of patient care services in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a dynamic role involving both direct provider interactions as well as driving operational excellence in patient’s care coordination. You will work closely with the Hive leadership to develop and manage healthcare provider relationships, facilitate differentiated patient care experience, and provide direct input into product feature improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Build and Manage Provider Relationships
    • Establish and manage relationships with healthcare providers (hospitals, clinics, physicians, etc)
    • Ensure accurate and timely updates to provider information and services
  • Negotiate and Maintain Partnerships
    • Lead negotiations for competitive rates with healthcare providers
    • Manage day-to-day relationships and address provider concerns
  • Optimize Care Coordination
    • Implement care coordination models and evaluate process improvements
  • Expand Provider Network
    • Accredit facilities and doctors based on member needs
    • Grow the network strategically in line with account distribution
  • Claims Management and Communication
    • Handle claims/payment issues and orient providers on approval procedures
    • Regularly update provider information and maintain open communication
  • Support Company Objectives
    • Assist in product development, business development, and customer success
  • Administrative Duties
    • Review and process healthcare provider contracts
    • Order and distribute promotional materials like standees
    • Maintain and organize essential documents
    • Assist in preparing and sending out communication materials
    • Coordinate logistics for partnership and operations-related events

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Organized with high attention to detail
  • Creative, strategic, and proactive in problem solving
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in business administration, operations, or related fields (medical background is a plus)
  • Curious, results-driven, ownership mentality with growth mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for innovation in healthcare
