Job Description - Production Planning & Inventory Control

Title: Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC) Assistant Manager The Production Planning & Inventory Control Assistant Manager will handle the supervision and execution of required functions in meeting targets of Finished Goods and Raw Materials' Supply Availability and Inventory Turn-Over Rate.

Review and approve Supply Planning Requisitions (SPR) for Finished Goods and Raw Materials from Planners.
Assess and review scenarios of forecast changes to determine critical items and present high/low scenarios to anticipate lapsing or run-out.
Ensure coordination between Planners and various departments for orderly and timely transitions in material, production planning, and transfer to JWSL.
Monitor Planners' oversight of production material consumption and achieved yield.
Review and highlight discrepancies in the Production Output Report, particularly concerning agreed production work orders for New Products.
Consolidate reports on Supplier's Delivery Performance, Raw Materials' Rolling Forecast Reports, and other needed Supply Planning reports.
Collaborate with Production and Site Logistics to ensure timely and complete fulfillment of STOs based on JWSL AM planned order.
Provides valuable inputs to the Company on people development and programs.
Abides Company Policies, Rules and Regulations on Discipline, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety, Quality Schemes, Safety and other related Company Policies being implemented.

Job Qualifications

A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any 4 or 5 year Business course, preferably a graduate of Industrial Engineering.
With at least 1 year experience in inventory, capacity and production planning in a food manufacturing plant.
Must be able to execute the following functions: Production Planning, Materials Planning, and Initiatives Planning
Must possess strong communication skills both written and oral .
Proficient in using Microsoft Application (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc...).
Must be flexible in terms of work schedule.
Willing to be assigned in Danao, Cebu.
