OVERALL ROLE PURPOSE:

To address business issues and improve business processes through provision of IT solution planning. projects manage and working with country, regional and global team.

YOUR TASKS:

• To collect country functional userrequirements.
• To capture and identify SEA country requirements to with core applications.
• To monitor the progress of localrequirement implementation.
• To provide cost justifiable solutions via local development. outsourcing or package acquisition where local requirements cannot be met by proprietary business application(with agreement of GIS, Cyberjaya).
• Reduction of footprint of localapplications in SEA.
• Carry out anytask that is required by his or her superiors from time to time.
• Contract negotiation, problem escalation, etc.
• To continuously review businessdirection, business processes and available applications through:
  • Business needs analysis in the context of regional and country direction.
  • Determination of appropriate IS system solutions, including evaluation for futurereleases of proprietary software.
  • To formulate and adhere to IT processes (CR/IR/RTP).
  • Escalation of core apps GAPS to regional office and seek suitable enhancements/alternatives.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Degree in Information Services/Business (or equivalent)
• 5 years IS and business experience, preferably in logistics industry.
• Excellent in Communication skills (English), both inspoken and written.
• Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy.
• Analyzes and resolves complex cross-functional issues.
• Well-developed relationship skills and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and other business units.
• Technical expertise in:
  • All of DHL's proprietary core business applications
  • Existing local developments
  • Unix Operating System (depending on local applications)
  • Informix 4GL and Database (depending on local applications)
  • Internet / Web technologies (php. Java, .net)
  • Database
