Quality Assurance Analyst

About the Role:

Our high-volume sorting center plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our customers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Analyst to join our operational excellence team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating quality issues throughout the sorting and logistics process. You will work collaboratively with various departments to implement improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of sorting equipment, processes, and procedures.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes of errors and inefficiencies.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address identified issues.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and IT teams to design and implement process improvements.
• Monitor performance metrics and report on quality trends and initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality processes and procedures.
• Train and coach sorting center personnel on quality procedures and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing sorting efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a logistics or manufacturing setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality management methodologies is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
