Account Manager - Food Wholesale Distribution

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Manager with a strong background in the Imported food wholesale industry to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the distribution of imported food products, targeting both larger supermarket chains and regional distribution networks. This role will do the end-to-end process of sales in food wholesale distribution. Rate paid in USD: $10-12 per hour
Schedule: 9 am to 5 pm, Manila Time Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in sales within the wholesale distribution of imported food products, with a proven track record of success.
• Existing network within the food industry, particularly with supermarkets and local markets, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in supermarket chains and distribution networks.
• Experienced in selling a wide variety of food products to larger chains or regional chains, adapting sales techniques accordingly.
• Knowledge of import procedures and product certifications 
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value proposition of our products.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with local buyers in supermarket chains and distribution networks.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
• Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals and maintaining ongoing customer relationships.
• Collaborate with the Logistics team to monitor import procedures and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Provide feedback to the management team to inform product development and marketing strategies.
