APQP Lead

• Proven knowledge and expertise in APQP, PPAP, SAP QM, GD&T, CMM and basic IMTEs is a definite plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment with high-volume of new commodities/ parts annual introduction, with at least 6-8-years experience in APQP, PPAP, Customer audits.
• Project management skills (resource planning; timing planning, cost planning) is an advantage.
• Experience in automotive parts supplier manufacturing is a definite advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills which make him/her capable of influencing workshop process and quality by himself with facts.
• Strong Leadership and Organizational skills.
• Must have knowledge of production concepts such as 6S, Kaizen, Lean, OEE, TPM, SMED, and continuous Improvement.
• Must possess excellent problem-solving skills, decision making skills (based on data) as well as interpersonal skills, including people-development, coaching, and mentoring.
• Experience with Quality Standards (ISO 9001, 14001,18001 /45001, VDA 6.3), as well as APQP tools such as, PFMEA, control plans, 8D, PPAP, KT, PDCA,

Tasks & responsibilities

Responsible to ensure each project component/ end-product is assigned with component responsible QA resource.

• Lead APQP activities for all projects working with CFT, global colleagues & customers.
• Responsible for overall quality planning for ensuring high product quality through stable and robust manufacturing processes.
• Responsible for overall APQP activities for all new product development thru PPAP, safe launch before series production.
• Responsible for organizing the VPT, V and MP Gate review.
• Actively engage cross functional teams in meeting APQP activities to ensure on time completion of PPAP with “Right First Time” Quality.
• Responsible to investigate and resolve quality issues encountered during pilot production build and evaluations runs at customer (BB, MB, FB, PB).
• Develop new product control plan documents according to PFMEA, work instructions for specialized inspection methods and inspection plans in SAP.
• Responsible for acquiring and releasing measuring tools and equipment necessary to meet specifications of the new product.
