Job Description

  • Conducts efficiently and on a timely basis the electrical, electronic and mechanical procedures for production start-up, including the set-up of start-up parameters, proper adjustment of the die-head, setting of heating and main screw parameters, setting of haul-off speed, setting of printer, etc.
  • Assists in the operational set-up of production machinery & equipment, and in conducting basic maintenance checks daily, prior to and during, operation, e.g. check oil, filter, screws, wiring, etc.
  • Conducts efficiently and on a timely basis the electrical, electronic and mechanical procedures for production shutdown, including the proper shutdown of the extruders and downstream equipment, flushing/ cleaning of the diehead, diehead disassembly, etc.
  • Acquires working knowledge in order to become thoroughly familiar with the physical and inherent properties and product specifications of the division’s finished products (i.e. plastic compounds); Performs in-line inspection of all production output to monitor compliance with these properties and specifications.
  • Must be 100% familiar with all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, electronic specifications and operation of all production line machines and equipment under his/ her responsibility.
  • Ensures that all production line machinery and equipment are running at 95-98% efficiency.
  • Conducts immediate troubleshooting and repairs/corrects minor mechanical, electrical or electronic problems that may arise during the course of the shift.

Qualifications:

  • College graduate with an Electrical Engineering degree (PRC license mandatory) from a reputable university
  • At least two (2) years of direct work experience in production operations in an industrial manufacturing company
  • Flexible in work hours; willing to render overtime when necessary
  • With working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality system
