Claims Manager

We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Claims Manager to join our insurance team in the Philippines. As a Claims Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the processing and settlement of insurance claims, ensuring that all claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of claims adjusters, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
• Review and approve insurance claims, ensuring that they are complete and accurate
• Investigate claims to determine coverage and liability
• Negotiate and settle claims with policyholders, third-party claimants, and other stakeholders
• Ensure that all claims are processed in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor claim activity and identify trends or issues that require attention
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the claims handling process and reduce costs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to claims activity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in claims management, preferably in the HMO industry
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies and regulations
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to make sound decisions and resolve conflicts
