In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• To apply eSourcing or online reverse auction as a sourcing tool that will help source parts at the best cost.
• To coordinate, route, and update suppliers and counterparts on eSourcing event parameters, documentation, commercial, and engineering specifications, leading up to the execution of the eSourcing event.
• To manage Emerson Business Unit contracts by crafting or revising them by collecting information for the contract content, routing, and coordinating approvals between commodity managers and the legal team.
• To ensure that engineering specification details in engineering drawings and datasheets are up-to-date and accurate.
• To effectively apply offline negotiation skills to source parts at the best cost.
• To source potential substitute parts through alternate sourcing, ensuring supply disruption is avoided.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Electronics and Communications, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1.5 years of relevant working experience in Procurement or Manufacturing.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities.
• Knowledgeable in environmental legislation and similar such as ROHS, REACH, etc.
• Fair degree of understanding in the field of Supply Chain.
