Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Officer

Responsible for over-all quality health check of the plant through conduct of GMP audits for Compliance, Process and Trade for customer/trade Quality Assurance through warehouse and trade outlet assessment.

What are the Responsibilities

• Responsible in ensuring all URC Manufacturing Plants are compliant to all regulatory requirements through timely application, submission, renewal and custodial management of all reports, permits and licenses including but not limited to Environment, Health and Safety for One URC including international sites.
• Responsible in ensuring all URC Manufacturing Plants are compliant to professional laws and all legal requirements.
• Acts as an External Liaison for National Government Regulatory agencies and offices to support One URC's permits, licensing and government filing requirements in good standing.
• Responsible in ensuring that the sites have good relationship with the regulatory agencies and local government units.
• Coordinates capability related trainings to government agencies including but not limited to accreditation of Pollution Control Officers (PCO) for DENR and LLDA, and Plant Safety Officers (PSO).
• Develops, designs and conducts Integrated Environment, Health and Safety Assessments, Compliance Assessments, Validation Assessments in all plants under ONE URC to ensure facilities are compliant with the company policies, international standards, and government legal requirements, including but not limited to permits and licenses compliance, accreditation of PCO's and SO's and other relevant legal requirements as mandated by law.
• Preferably a DOLE Accredited Safety Practitioner
• Preferably has experience being an accredited Pollution Control Officer in LLDA and DENR.
• Preferably Lead Auditor Course passer on ISO 14001 EMS and ISO 45001 OHSMS.

What are the Qualifications

• With extensive experience on Safety and Environmental standards and regulatory requirements
• With expertise on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS )- OCPs (Occupational Control Program)
• Knowledge on EHS permits and pre-requisite requirements.
• Preferably a DOLE Accredited Safety Practitioner
• Preferably has experience being an accredited Pollution Control Officer in LLDA and DENR
• Preferably Lead Auditor Course passer on ISO 14001 EMS and ISO 45001 OHSMS.
