Position Summary
This role involves generating project estimates for Civilcast. This role also requires collaboration with the sales team, new product development, and other key stakeholders. Ensuring accurate cost calculations are carried out for the design and construction of civil and hydraulic custom projects.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
• To be regarded by all customers, both internal and external, at every level, as a provider of outstanding customer service.
• To follow through on customer inquiries, requests, and complaints, keeping the customer up to date on progress.
• To abide by all Company Policies & Procedures including the Code of Conduct and EEO Policies.
Teamwork
• To co-operate by willingly participating and supporting team decisions, being a good team player.
• To share information by keeping people informed and up to date about the group processes.
• To promote a friendly climate, good morale, and cooperation, promoting a good reputation with both internal and external customers.
Estimating
• Estimating for design and construction for civil & hydraulic custom projects.
• Estimating / BOQs for standard drainage and sewer products.
• Quote/tender preparation and submission.
• Work to required deadlines i.e., fast quote turnaround times. • Maintain an elevated level of skill and proficiency within your job role to minimize error rates.
Requirements
• 3+ Years experience (Qualification preferred) in Estimating or Quantity Surveying in an Engineering business, or similar role.
• Experience in sub-ground water and sewer infrastructure, including technical understanding.
• Experience in the preparation of bills of quantities (advantageous).
• Be service-focused – you connect well with people from all levels of the business, and establishing great working relationships comes naturally to you.
• Strong understanding of estimating processes including familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the innate ability to actively listen to the client.
• Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to be proactive and plan effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work to Australasian Working Hours.
• Willingness to work or relocate in the Angeles City Pampanga Office.
