Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Import Associate !

Responsible for monitoring and ensuring timely delivery of incoming sea/air shipments in accordance with the policies of URC/Gokongwei Group and all applicable government laws/regulations and in the least possible non-standard charges

Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely receipt of advance shipping documents and original documents (if necessary) and forward the same to broker

- Monitor shipments and limit non-standard charges to P5,000/container

- Ensure timely submission of Request for Payment for duties/taxes, shipping line charges and port charges

- Submit required documents for telex shipments

- Submit required documents for insurance claims

- Ensure timely declaration of shipments for insurance coverage, receipt of policy and forward to broker

- Ensure shipments are post filed based on BOC policy

- Provide regular shipment update to stakeholders/internal customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Customs
• 1 to 2 years of work experience in importation.
