National Sales Manager - Marine & Protective Coatings page is loaded
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are now inviting applications for the role of National Sales Manager - Marine & Protective Coatings, based onsite our Derrimut head office. The role will be responsible for leading, managing, and further developing the Marine and Protective business operations in Australia by developing, communicating, and following up on all relevant Customer Groups, key sales growth strategies, and action plans in order to achieve strategic goals and actively contribute to the performance and result of the company. Participate and contribute actively to the Local Management Team by discussing, influencing, and deciding on company strategy in order to drive the company in the right direction and achieve expected results.
Lead, develop, and support staff by clearly advocating and communicating ambitions for personal, professional, and career development in line with The Penguin Spirit, to ensure sufficient resources and competence to realize the strategy.
Lead, manage, and develop the organization by effectively organizing, delegating, and distributing areas of responsibility and authority using yPOD/KIT to ensure focus, attention, and cost-effective business operations aligned with strategic directions.
Monitor and follow up on the business operations of the assigned segments by regular interaction with reporting managers and management teams in order to give adequate and efficient support.
Building and effectively leading a Sales organization through hiring, coaching, and retaining employees by providing skills and competence development programs to enhance and improve skill set, management effectiveness, and sales per salesperson efficiency.
To maintain DSO by constant review and ensuring a strong mechanism for payment collection in order to ensure that it is within the acceptable norms.
