Occupational Health Nurse

Linearworks Corporation started its commercial operations on its Manufacturing Division at Peoples Technology Complex Carmona, Cavite on April 2008 using Japanese management and production technology in terms of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) final process and inspection. Its products are exported mostly to Japan and other countries.

The Role

You will be responsible for :

• Promotes healthy habits and disease prevention by educating employees through lectures, counseling, fliers, leaflets, and posters posted on the company bulletin board.
• Educates and Trains employees on Safety and Health.
• Administers first aid treatment and proper medications to employees as needed.
• Accompanies injured employees to the nearest hospital in case of work-related accidents.
• Monitors, records, and reports symptoms and changes in patient's conditions.
• Maintains complete and accurate medical and other health-related records of all employees.
• Assesses returning employees from sick leave and ensures submission of medical certificate upon return to work.
• Evaluates diagnostic test results and medical certificates to determine employees' medical condition.
• Assists Company Physician during consultation schedule.
• Assists and coordinates the annual, regular, and pre-employment medical and physical examinations of employees.
• Monitors and reports dispensed and stocked inventory of medicines and other necessary supplies and equipment from time to time.
• Makes clinic monthly reports for submission to Admin Department.
• Conducts and submits canteen inspection monthly.
• Reviews and submits employees’ maternity and sickness benefit claims.
• Monitors maternity leave and pregnancy status of employees.
• Submits DOLE monthly WAIR and annual medical reports.
• Implements occupational safety and health programs.
• Assists the Occupational Safety and Health committee in formulating and implementing preventive measures against occupational hazards and promoting healthy living and working conditions.
• Directs and supervises less-skilled healthcare personnel.
• Remains up-to-date with the current health and safety legislation, especially in times of pandemic.
• Promotes worker productivity by developing and implementing health guidelines and policies.
• Assists in HR and Admin activities and performs other related tasks that maybe assigned by superiors from time to time.

Ideal Profile

• Graduate of BS Nursing
• Registered Nurse
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Excellent skills in both oral and written communication
• Initiative and Strong Work Ethic
• Critical Thinking Skills
• Has at least one (1) year of related work experience
