The Logistics Operations Supervisor creates procedures for logistics management to optimize workflow and minimize cost. Manages and plan for logistics policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being a Logistics Operations Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Has responsibilities for vendor selection and negotiation, distribution, transportation and iventory control. In addition, Logistics Operations Supervisor typically reports to the Vice President of Operations. The Logistics Operations Supervisor manages subordinates staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that the department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Working as a Logistics Operations Supervisor typically requires 5 years experience in the related area.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and coordinate all shipping, receiving and distribution operations
• Work closely with shipping lines, truckers, agents and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency, customer services, and cost effective
• Manage the logistics staff and coordinate scheduling and workloads
• Ensure the retention of our clients by resolving any issues within the promised timeline
• Ensure that all operations employees and logistics partners are trained according to FastLogic Corp.'s standards
• Promote and implement KPIs all employees and logistics partners to improve general operations
• Reducing and eventually eliminating delays and damaged cargoes
• Work harmoniously with Sales and Finance Supervisors to promote peace and harmonious relationship within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
• At least 5 years of prior experience in a supervisory role in logistics or related field
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving and distribution processes and procedures
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multitask and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment
• Extremely self-motivated, organized, and responsible
