Overview
Lipton is Unilever’s largest brand in turnover and global presence and is a key component in PepsiCo’s beverage portfolio. Lipton is a truly global brand and operates in two distinct areas; Leaf tea and Ready to Drink Tea (RTDT). The RTDT team operates as a separate entity to Unilever and PepsiCo as part of a joint venture organization.
Pepsi Lipton is a joint venture between Unilever and PepsiCo to manufacture and sell Lipton Ice Tea and operates across the globe. As a company in its own right, the joint venture has its own board of directors. Whilst in constant contact with its parent companies, it runs as a separate entity on a day to day basis. We have 5 regional organisations operating across North America, Europe, LATAM, NASEA and AMESAA
Working in the joint venture is one of the few opportunities to work in a small, entrepreneurial company within a larger framework of Unilever and PepsiCo. Main Purpose
Develop and align with Bottler on detailed marketing activity plans to deliver the agreed strategies, including:
Lead the execution of the annual marketing plans, including:
•Support the Bottler GTM team in the execution of the AOP and delivery of key brand & financial goals
•Monitor performance against AOP KPIs and financial goals, and conduct regular reviews withBottler and Pepsi Lipton stakeholders, including preparing required reports, presentations and forecasts, and recommending necessary steps to dynamically manage plans and budgets to deliver the AOP goals
•Manage local implementation of operational projects ( innovation, packaging changes etc ), and co-ordinate with Pepsi Lipton Technical and Operational resources as required.
•Bachelor’s Degree minimum, ideally in Business or Marketing
•7-10 years marketing / Key Account Management experience
•Good knowledge of Marketing and Sales or Channel Management, with working knowledge ofOperations and Finance
•Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a complex matrix organization
•Passion for growth and achievement
•Excellent leadership and people skills: ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels and across multiple functions and organizations
•Sound oral and written communication skills, including fluency in English
