Job Description - Production Supervisor

  • Production planning based on the Sales Forecast
  • Organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
  • Ensures all resources and assets are used safety and efficiently.
  • Evaluates each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency. To oversee production operations, optimizing day-to-day activities in a profitable manner while minimizing the costs.
  • Ensures machine start-ups within the required schedules. To improve team efficiency and profitability by reducing waste. (Preventing deterioration of production mixes).
  • Setting daily objectives, communicating to employees, identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.
  • Checks the availability & inventory of production mix to be used for next shift and next day production. (In coordination with QA Machine / Machine Unit Coordinator)
  • Placing orders of raw materials to Purchasing Department ; Meat, Frozen Raw mats, Vegetables to be used for the mixes (Note : prior to ordering ; should consider the ff.; of machines in good condition, no. of manpower (operators), remaining inventory of mixes and remaining inventory of raw materials.
  • Records daily consumption of mix used as compared to the Job Order requirement.
  • Records and summarizes no. of actual mix run by each machines for monthly report.
  • Ensures that Production reports that need to submit are forwarded to Production Office every end of the shift.
  • Checks production output according to specifications, check the accuracy of production reports from the ff. departments;

Machine Unit Coordinator - Machine Production Report - qty. (no.) of mix run

Pillow Packing Operator - Unit Production Report - qty. (no.) of packs produced

FGP Custodian - FGP report - qty. (no.) actual count endorsed to Storage Custodian

  • Ensures that no. of mixes required as indicated in the Job Order Form should be done; put remarks if there are problems in completing the said requirements.
  • Diligently verifies delivery and release date of the Sales orders.
  • Monitors Daily Attendance Record of staff under the Department (report daily absences and tardiness to HRD Department)
  • Objectively evaluates the personnel according to their performance, attendance, character towards to work.
  • Correct wrong doings of personnel towards to work and co worker
  • Raise the concerns of the employees, must be open to suggestions, changes in process and equipment that might help to ease the process. Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management and executives.
  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
  • Reports directly to General Manager / President for any concerns, unit problems, request in equipment/ tools needed to improve efficiency of the department.
  • To provide reports, information needed by the CEO

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 per month
