Job Description:

BASIC FUNCTION

The job holder contributes to the growth and profitability of the company by being responsible for attaining goals for the following Key Result Areas (KRA):

• Plant Maintenance
• Production

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational/Technical Performance Areas

Plant Maintenance

• Ensure that the plant, equipment, and systems are working and properly maintained.
• Commission and test plant machinery and equipment.
• Schedule preventive maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment.
• Conduct quick troubleshooting on defective machinery and equipment.
• Inspect, survey, and assess the plant premises to ensure that the plant is in good working condition.
• Conduct investigation in cases of deviations on machine/equipment utilization.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations on pollution, health, fire, and safety.
• Ensure compliance of production to quality standards and good manufacturing practices and other standards.
• Prepare compliance monitoring report and submit to the concerned internal recipient and government agencies.

Production

• Supervise production.
• Implement the Quality and Food Safety Policies and Procedures of the company.
• Ensure and monitor the following:

- Raw and packaging materials are available to be used before production.

- Production area is prepared before production.

- Correct and accurate weighing of Ingredients.

- Maintenance of machines and equipment per operating manufacturer's manual.

- Finished products conform to established product specifications, before transferring to the next station and for transfer to the warehouse.

- Production process and outputs are correctly recorded.

- Immediate reporting of deviations, non-conformances, irregularities related to production, procedures, material quality, and machine function

Others

• Perform other tasks that will be assigned from time to time.

B. Supervisory Function

Assist the Chief Operating Officer in performing the following:

• Ensuring that the department’s output meet the performance standards within the available resources.
• Stimulating positive work attitude by instilling pride at work and quality consciousness among staff.
• Contributing to the company's profitability by observing cost control and cost reduction.
• Seeking easier and better ways of doing work efficiently.
• Minimizing risks and hazards in the work areas.
• Rating performance of staff and conducting development actions plans.
• Building team spirit and cooperation.
• Jointly identifying problems, determining causes and finding solutions.
• Communicating information from management to the staff within the unit.
