PURCHASING ASSOCIATE

• Supervise and assign tasks to the service team to maintain, repair and perform preventive maintenance service of heavy construction equipment.
• Evaluate and monitor the performance of the service team personnel.
• Responsible for heavy equipment such as: mobilization, installation, dismantle, demobilization planning and implementation
• Responsible for heavy equipment operators and other personnel management.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment ensure safety standard is in compliance to OSHC standard and other legal requirement.
• Coordinate with warehouse department for the heavy equipment spare part management.
• Ensure high utilization level of inventory and spare parts.
• Plan, formulate and implement workflow and system that improve the management and efficiency of heavy equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Civil (Site Development) or equivalent.
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): Basic Troubleshooting, Equipment Maintenance
• Preferably Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Engineering – Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
• Familiarity with equipment, tools and materials in construction industry.
• Prepares weekly accomplishment report and other documents needed for the project.
• Setting out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification.
• Coordinating with the Project-in-Charge regarding construction programs.
• Checking materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements.
• Observance of safety requirements
• Resolving technical issues with employer’s representatives, suppliers, General Contractors and statutory authorities.
• Coordinating with company or project purchasing department to ensure that purchase orders adequately define the specified requirements.
• Measurement and valuation (in collaboration with the project quantity surveyor where appropriate)
• Providing data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.
• Preparing record drawings, technical reports, site logbook.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Civil Engineer (Site Development) or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
