Quality Assurance Laboratory Manager

• Must be a Registered Chemist, in compliance with RA 10657 (Chem Law)
• Responsible for the overall laboratory operations for the site in accordance to Global Quality Systems standards for Lab Controls.
• Reports to the QA Director. Represents QC in the Quality Leadership Team / Pillar.
• Responsible for the effective implementation of testing, disposition tagging and releasing of materials, intermediates and finished products based on corporate policies and procedures.
• Owns the Quality & Food Safety PDCA process and cost management for the laboratory. This includes development and execution of function masterplan based on QA and Site directions, delivery and review of QC & food safety key performance measures.
• Responsible for the implementation of Daily Direction Setting for laboratory operations.
• Responsible for safety, preventive maintenance program implementation for laboratory operations
• Liaises with QA leaders for the material and finished product performance results.
• Leads the IQA for the laboratory, including verification of actions.
• Responsible for the implementation of an effective recording and record keeping for all laboratory data in compliance with ALCOA+ (Data Integrity).
• Responsible for the review and approval of laboratory-related CPIAR.
• Will be the approver for all validation plans and close out reports related to laboratory equipment and test methods.
