Job Description - US Payroll Specialist

Qualifications & experience

  • Graduate of any 4-year degree course.
  • CPP preferred but not required.
  • With 5-6 years' experience processing multi-state payroll.
  • Working knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.
  • Working knowledge of e-Time and Kronos, Workday Timekeeper and Workday Absent Manager.
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Amenable to work on graveyard shift; hybrid set-up.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Perform daily payroll shared services operations
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Oversee correct garnishment calculations and compliance thru ADP Smart compliance
  • Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll
