Job Overview

As a Senior Business Analyst specializing in loans and lending, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and optimizing our lending processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable insights and solutions. Leveraging your expertise in loans and lending, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative strategies to enhance our lending products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and define project objectives related to loans and lending.
• Data Analysis: Utilize analytical tools and techniques to analyze loan data, identify trends, and generate insights that inform strategic decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize lending processes, including application, underwriting, approval, and servicing.
• Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with lending activities by developing risk models, conducting scenario analyses, and implementing appropriate controls.
• Product Development: Collaborate with product teams to conceptualize, design, and launch new lending products and features that meet customer needs and market demands.
• Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of lending initiatives and provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to lending, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, finance, risk management, and other departments to drive alignment and execution of lending initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 9 to 13 years of relevant business analysis experience and expertise in core banking implementations and in-depth knowledge and experience in – loans management system, retail banking, digital banking Trade processing, position management and digital channels.
• Strong experience in Loan Management System functions, requirements and processes and managing requirements with demonstrated large scale implementation experience
• Demonstrated experience in delivering business analysis and requirements management activities for TEMENOS Transact / Transact solution implementation
• Strong Business Analysis capability particularly in requirements management and co-ordination of implementation of large-scale programs
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrated experience in managing diverse set of stakeholders and conducting effective workshops
• Excellence in managing business analysis documentation capabilities and in producing BA deliverables including business requirements, functional requirements, user stories
• Strong experience in process documentation and driving change management for leading banks in Philippines
• Experience in data analysis and data migration involving Temenos Transact
• Strong analytical skills with ability to assimilate information quickly and gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when required.
• Strong team player and good interpersonal skills
• Well-versed in industry developments and trends in the relevant functional domain
• Experience in driving digital initiatives with business and operations will be an advantage
• Ability to adapt to different software development methodologies, e.g. Agile and Waterfall projects
