You will also assist commodity managers with complex projects and activities, such as analytics provisions. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• The commodity engineer will provide direction and analysis on procurement services such as Industry Information/Market Data, Technical Analysis/Research and Procurement System Support.
• Preparation of RFQ’s and cost analysis. 
• Alternative Sourcing - creates extensive reports on sourcing for an equivalent grade from a different supplier for business units.
• Supplier Communication and Negotiation activities.
• Lead, manage and maintain active participation in Organization Effectiveness, Operations Excellence, and Strategic Partnership to develop synergy between Manila Supply Chain and the Emerson business unit.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Electronics and Communications, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Four (4) years of relevant working experience in Procurement or Manufacturing.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical/electronic commodities.
• Fair degree of understanding in the field of Supply Chain.
