Job Overview

As a Python Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure to support our data-driven initiatives. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement large scale data loading, manipulation, processing, analysis, exploration solutions.
• Convert Snowflake SQL to Google BQ, test and validate
• Set-up new environments for migration effort
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions
• Develop solutions for capabilities that are available in snowflake and not available in BQ
• Assist QA team and application owners with data validation and certification
• Design and build Moder Data Pipelines and Data Streams.
• Develop and Maintain Data Warehouse.
• Design and create ETL processes supplying Data Warehouse

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 6+ years of experience in Google BigQuery, GCP, SQL, and Python (those who have less than 6 years of experience may still be considered depending on the overall skillset).
• Hands-on experience in Data Engineering and building pipelines. Knowledgeable in Data warehousing and Data modeling
• Experience with BigQuery Query optimizations for performance.
• Experience using Git and Github actions
• Experience with Agile
