Job Description - Senior HR Manager

Position Type:  Senior Manager Level / Management Role

Work Location:  Davao City

Work Setup:  Full-Time/ Onsite

Scope & Responsibilities:

1. Design and monitor human resources functions including:

  • Talent Acquisition
  • Employee Relations and culture building and maintenance
  • Learning Management / Training & Development
  • Performance Management & Goal Management
  • Compensation and Benefits / Payroll Management
  • HR Compliances

2. Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.

3. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.

4. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.

5. Maintain and secure accessible HR Tracking information, HRIS, Personnel Records.

6. Formulate, recommend, and implement HR Policies:

  • Create HR Policy in compliance with the law and considering the best practices and business requirements. Update the policy as and when required.
  • Create and streamline HR processes to improve the efficiency of HR Department.
  • Organize and assist in effective implementation of HR policies to improve HR performance and optimize employee productivity.

7. Complete special human resources projects, including setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing, and organizing information. Analyze time and cost issues and prepare reports.

8. Comply with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

9. Coordinates the administration of employee safety, occupational health, security, and workers' compensation programs and ensures compliance with all local safety regulations.

10. Employee Life Cycle Management

  • Responsible for entire employee life cycle management.
  • Responsible for coordination and handling Confirmations, Promotion, Transfers, Exit Management.

11. Nurture a positive working environment.

12. General Services

  • In-charge in providing administrative support to all departments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Exposure in the same industry (Coconut) or other food manufacturing is an advantage.
  • 8 to 10 years in the agriculture or food manufacturing industry.
  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Coconut Industry is a plus but not required.
  • People-oriented and results-driven.
  • Ability to architect strategies along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
