Work Shift: Monday-Friday (EST) Mercury Gate Final Mile is a Cloud based solution which is supporting First and Last mile delivery. Think about a FedEx delivery truck going from house to house dropping of packages, this is exactly what our tool is doing. The position we are looking to fill is a person who works customer facing gets involved into training and therefore need to understand the system and what the customer is trying to achieve from a business perspective. The application itself can be configured but most configuration is done in the back end using shell s, python s or SQL Database queries etc. Therefore, we are looking for a person who has technical skills but is also interested in working with customers. Job De ion:

• Deep knowledge of transportation and logistics business processes combined with an in-depth knowledge of Mercury Gate's products (Final Mile, Back Office, or Visibility) or other industry products.
• Experienced in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of manufacturing Backoffice order systems, Final Mile, Visibility tools, TMS, OMS, ERP, and other systems integration.
• Prior experience diagnosing system process issues gap analysis.
• Ability to translate functional and operational issues into technical requirements.
• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing defects.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners, and consultants.
• Strong communicator, able to influence and collaborate at all levels to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized technical questions.
• Highly developed analytical skills, able to apply advanced mathematical concepts and mathematical operations to tasks required.
• Ability to work independently and be effective/proactive in a relatively unstructured environment.
• Skilled in interpreting a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and experience dealing with several abstract and concrete variables (example: Mapping out workflows in diagram form)

• Knowledge of Unix/CLI commands, experience with software/website development, SQL/MS Access/Database knowledge.
• Experience with transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, AS2, API).
• Experience with mapping software.
• Shell ing?(Bash, C Shell), Unix Command Line, basic Unix commands.
• AWS concepts, fundamental AWS services, Web application concepts.
• SQL?to retrieve, update, export and manipulate data from following databases: Informix?/ Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Jira, Confluence, Salesforce.
• Python and/or ing language.
