Supply Planning Specialist

Department: Supply Planning Reporting to: Supply Planning Manager What this position is about: This position exists for effective management of supply planning and production planning ensuring integration of business processes between various stakeholders. The objective of this role is to ensure synchronization of supply in a rapidly changing business environment. The role also requires leading the supply and production plan process along with other key functions (Sales, Marketing, Finance) with the main goal of understanding the supply requirements including but not limited to optimal finished goods inventory level according to company targets, minimizing operational losses by ensuring proper supply from the factory and proper allocation to the warehouses. What will you do:

• To lead cross-functional activities to refine the production model considering the latest sales and marketing assumptions. Incorporate key assumption changes in the production model by analyzing local trends, potential write-offs and production variability.
• To develop a dynamic capacity and supply planning model and strategies to support demand scenarios, product-specific requirements and manufacturing capabilities. To implement production strategies and create simulation models on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
• To lead alignment meetings with manufacturing counterparts to ensure proper planning of market initiatives and projects. To provide management with analysis of supply requirements by SKU given supply capacity constraints, market initiatives and other factors.

Who are we looking for:

• Possess a Degree in Business Administration preferably under Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 year experience in supply planning / inventory management in a sales and distribution environment of a FMCG industry.
• Able to speak and write English well and must be computer literate. SAP knowledge would be advantageous.
• Must have an advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
