Job Description - Accounts Manager

Job description An Account Manager is the primary point of contact for customers and they find opportunities to increase sales and implement cost-saving measures for the company. They are to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, source out new clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
  • Plan, execute, and manage client accounts and projects
  • Collaborate with clients to determine product or service requirements
  • Develop project plans to meet client goals and objectives
  • Build relationships with clients to ensure brand and project success
  • Create a pleasant experience for clients by coordinating with marketing and customer service to provide solutions
  • Provide regular updates, respond to inquiries, and address any client concerns in a timely manner
  • Coordinate and facilitate regular client meeting
  • Monitor and manage project performance
  • Oversee the development of new client relationships
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention
