JOB DESCRIPTION FOR AN ANDROID DEVELOPER We are looking for an Android Developer to join our US client team. The responsibilities of an Android Developer include designing and developing the Android landscape for the mobile application, conducting the testing phase to find and troubleshoot bugs or issues, and provide maintenance and security checks. The Android Developer will assist the senior developer in every part of the application’s development to ensure that the development process goes smoothly.
The successful candidate will help build the client’s best practice process to streamline his workflow and systematize the business. As a an Android Developer: -Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline is strongly preferred.
-Minimum 1 year of work experience in mobile applications development or similar industry is strongly preferred.
-Strong communication and written skills.
-Strong understanding of the full life cycle of app development using Google’s Developer Portal.
-Can navigate the App development process from creation to submitting the playstore.
-Experience using open-source project and can comfortably navigate versioning tools.
-Requisite knowledge with automated test coverage.
-Experience in publishing apps in the market.
-Hands on experience with continuous integration.
-Has innovative and out-of-the-box thinking.
-Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
-Strong conceptual thinking, resourceful, diligent, and has keen attention to details.
-Passionate about Android and is always up to date with the latest industry trends concerning OS, devices, applications, web technologies and new user interactions. Your Responsibilities as a Native Android Developer are: -Analysis, specification, and validation of requirements for mobile applications/projects.
-Documenting and diagramming technical design and their interactions with external systems.

-Debugging and optimization skills.
