Job Description - Business Development Officer

The Business Development Officer will be responsible for crafting and executing sales strategies to acquire new clients and secure new accounts for the company. Business Development Officer will play a key role in leading and implementing internal and external communication strategies while managing client relationships. This role involves nurturing stakeholders, investors, and clients through a structured process, expanding our client base both domestically and internationally, while keeping a close eye on industry trends and identifying opportunities to enhance the company's visibility. Moreover, cultivate relationships among various stakeholders including government entities, clients, and business partners. Duties and Responsibilities: Demonstrate exceptional organizational prowess by meticulously managing an individual pipeline of prospects, navigating them seamlessly toward the pivotal milestone of scheduling a meeting. Formulate and execute a dynamic sales strategy tailored to acquiring new clients and securing fresh accounts, bolstering the company's market presence and revenue streams. Play a pivotal role in orchestrating both internal and external communication strategies, adeptly handling client relations. Cultivate and nurture relationships with stakeholders, investors, and clients, implementing a systematic process to monitor and fortify these vital connections. Spearhead the expansion of clientele across diverse international and local markets, leveraging strategic initiatives to capitalize on growth opportunities. Vigilantly monitor industry dynamics, identifying avenues to elevate the company's visibility and influence, often through strategic involvement of the COO and CEO. Foster robust relationships among key stakeholders, spanning government entities, clients, and business partners, fostering collaboration and mutual success., Stay abreast of cutting-edge business trends and industry developments, conducting ongoing research to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge. Craft compelling memos, letters, and other written correspondences, as well as reports, speeches, and presentations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with company objectives. Regularly report to the head office at least twice a week, facilitating alignment and transparency in operations (on Mondays and a designated day). Submit a comprehensive Weekly Activity Report to the COO, CSD Head and the HR Department every Friday, providing insights into accomplishments, challenges, and objectives. Participate in monthly face-to-face alignment meetings on performance, contributing insights and updates to foster synergy and strategic alignment. Commit to scheduling at least one potential new client meeting each week, actively expanding the company's client base and fostering growth opportunities. Prepare detailed monitoring reports for assigned pipelines, offering valuable insights to optimize performance and drive results. Undertake additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute to the company's overall success. Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications: Bachelor's/College Degree in Marketing, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, or its equivalent educational attainment from a reputable institution, providing a comprehensive foundation. Demonstrable experience in the Engineering and/or Construction Industry, showcasing a deep understanding of industry dynamics and best practices, offering valuable insights and perspectives. Proven track record of engaging with local and international clients, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and effective communication across diverse backgrounds, fostering global partnerships and collaborations. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in roles pertinent to the advertised position, indicating a seasoned professional with a wealth of knowledge and expertise to contribute. Proficiency in utilizing MS Office applications to streamline processes, analyze data, and present compelling reports, enhancing organizational efficiency and productivity. Exemplary oral and written communication skills, characterized by clarity, precision, and persuasiveness, enabling seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels and the delivery of impactful messages.
