JOB SUMMARY

Assist in overseeing capital management across the BPI Group to ensure adequacy of capital relative to regulatory and internal requirements and optimal use of the Bank's resources.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in the Bank's Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) execution, stress testing, recovery planning, and documentation, to comply with BSP's Risk-Based Capital Adequacy Framework.
• Performs regular review of the financial performance of the Bank and its subsidiaries (especially as regards income, risk-weighted assets, capital requirement, capital adequacy) and assesses the impact of planned and prospective financial/business activities/investments to: (1) ensure optimal use of capital and resources, (2) maintain compliance with regulatory and internal thresholds, and (3) determine appropriate course of action to address any foreseen capital/funding deficiencies.
• Develops and reviews processes, policies, standards, procedures, and templates, to ensure consistent application across the Group, particularly on matters relating to overall management of Group capital and capital stress testing
• Monitors developments in the regulatory landscape to gauge any potential impact to the Bank's capital position.
• Collects and organizes capital and financial markets data to provide management and stakeholders with relevant, timely, and meaningful information (via dashboards, daily/monthly valuation reports, etc.), potentially serving as basis for high-level decisions.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Economics, or any business-related courses
• Strong analytical, inter-personal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• At least 2 years work experience in banking industry, financial spreadsheet and analysis
