Data Operations Specialist for Volleyball Sports League

We are helping a New York City Volleyball Sports League find a Data Operations Specialist to join their team. Role Title: Database Specialist Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Operations Specialist to join our recreational volleyball business. As a Data Operations Specialist you will be responsible for managing and updating our HubSpot contacts and deals, as well as playing a crucial role in generating, improving, and updating various business reports and marketing lists. Your expertise in database management will be essential in maintaining accurate and organized information to support our business operations. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize our database, including nearly 30,000 contacts and 200,000 deals in HubSpot.
• Generate HubSpot reports to provide actionable insights into key metrics and performance indicators.
• Execute data cleanup tasks and ensure data accuracy during the migration of registrants from our sports league platform into HubSpot.
• Create Zapier integrations to automate data transfer processes and streamline operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data consistency and drive business initiatives.
• Utilize advanced functions in Excel, such as VLOOKUP, Queries, and Pivot Tables, to work with large datasets effectively

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Database Specialist or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in HubSpot and other relevant database management tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong spoken and written English skills
• Experience playing Volleyball. A passion for Volleyball is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of database-related tasks.
• Ability to work US East Coast time
