What you'll do:
As an FX Trader you will play a pivotal role in managing the bank's FX and IR positions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing comprehensive updates on foreign exchange, money market status, operations, and current market conditions. You will engage in spot/forward foreign exchange and interest rates derivatives transactions within authorised limits. Your ability to achieve financial targets set by local and regional offices will be crucial to your success in this role. Furthermore, staying informed about market trends and collaborating effectively with team members will be integral parts of your role.

• Manage the FX and Interest Rates (IR) position of the bank, ensuring optimal performance and profitability
• Provide the Department Head with comprehensive information on Foreign Exchange, Money Market, status of operations and current state of markets
• Engage in spot/forward Foreign Exchange and Interest Rates derivatives transaction within the authorised limit
• Achieve the financial target set by the local and regional office through strategic planning and execution
• Stay abreast of market trends and developments to inform trading decisions
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication

What you bring:

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Banking, Finance or other similar courses is required
• At least seven years' work experience in FX and/or Rates trading in a bank is essential
• Certification as a treasury professional is mandatory
• Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, money markets, operations, and current market conditions
• Proven ability to manage FX and IR positions effectively
• Demonstrated ability to achieve financial targets
