Responsible for the overall management of the Group Marketing Department with the ultimate goal of providing efficient support to all COO’s in the following areas (1) Marketing Plan Development and Implementation, (2) Advertising, Trade Promotions, and Merchandising, (3) Corporate Communications and Public Relations, (4) Market Research & Business Intelligence, (5) Brand Management (6) Sales Performance Analysis and (6) Other Special Projects related to Sales & Marketing that may be assigned by the Chairman & CEO in order to strengthen and achieve market leadership for existing products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Public Relations
· Prepares, recommends, and implements a sustainable public relations program aligned with the organization’s strategic directions;
· Acts as lead person in conceptualizing, writing and disseminating all forms of official communication that enhance the image of the company.
Communication, External
· Write and have approved press releases and advertorials emphasizing the positive image of the organization;
· Ensures that press releases are disseminated and publicized through a network of influencers developed for the purpose of cooperating with the organization’s PR strategy;
Communication, Internal
· Works with Human Resources in developing internal communication within the organization;
· Acts as primary point person for internal announcements and notices that impact the image of the company
· Develops the organization’s corporate image and identity, including usage of brands, materials, logos, and other identification marks;
· Recommends on the look and feel of branding as utilized in commercial activities; proposes updates on brand positioning based on communication objectives of the commercial ( Sales & Marketing groups )
Advertising Campaign
· Supports the development and execution of the organization’s advertising campaign by collaborating with the Ad & Promo Manager in the development of campaign strategies that involve various media networks ( print, radio, TV, digital ) to maximize exposure and reach of the ad campaign;
Technical:
· Solid background in all areas of Marketing.
· Updated stock knowledge in various means of advertising and mass communication methods;
· Must have active contacts in PR organizations and print, broadcast and digital media outfits;
· Must be adept in all forms of communication, especially on writing and visual presentations;
· Must be comfortable in working with simultaneous projects and tight deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Graduate of Business Marketing or Business Management
· With at least twenty (20) years of experience in the management of Marketing functions gained from construction material-related manufacturing and marketing companies such as cement, steel, pipes, paint, rebar, etc. with multi-products.
· Must possess knowledge of Marketing Principles, Market Research Techniques, and Conduct of Feasibility Studies.
· Must have strong leadership and analytical skills
· Must show excellent oral and written communication skills in English
· Must be computer literate
· Well-organized and systematic
· Assertive / Diplomatic but firm
· Able to relate with all levels in the organization
· Able to handle work pressure
· Must be willing to work onsite in Makati.
