Marketing Analyst

Description:

We are looking for a Marketing Analyst who'll research and identify ways to build our brand and acquire new clients.

Marketing Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to tracking conversion rates, advertising costs, creating new reporting dashboards and exploring market data, trends and opportunities. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with directly managing or familiarity conceptually with marketing platforms including but not limited to Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads and Google Analytics 4, and be comfortable with processing and analyzing marketing data.

Ultimately, you will help us measure and understand our marketing efforts and the direct and indirect influences that affect performance.

Responsibilities:

• Create interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools including Looker Studio on marketing KPIs like marketing-attributed leads, website conversion rates, sales funnels performance and cost attributed to paid and non-paid marketing means across multiple data sources.
• Help convert legacy reporting to standardized reporting dashboards in Looker Studio.
• Perform in-depth data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python/R to extract insights from large datasets.
• Work closely with sales, operations and management to help support other analytics tasks supporting non-marketing initiatives. 
• Measure results of A/B testing and experimentation to optimize marketing campaigns and improve conversion rates.
• Create custom automations to support marketing teams' campaigns.
• Assist in data cleaning, preprocessing, and integration of marketing and non-marketing data from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing analytics.

Required Skills & Experiences:

• Work experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar role.
• Expertise in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics Universal, Google Analytics 4), tagging solutions (e.g., Google Tag Manager) and knowledge of ad platforms (i.e., Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, etc.)
• Knowledge of query languages, such as SQL and/or RegEx.
• Experience working in, querying Salesforce Lightning & Pipedrive.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and statistical programming languages like Python or R.
• Experience maintaining and working in BigQuery and Google Cloud.
• Experience creating dashboards in Looker Studio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Functional experience working with site and application APIs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
