Job Description - Sales Support Manager

A sales support manager is responsible for monitoring the sales operations of an organization, evaluating the sales performance, and conducting data analysis and research to identify business opportunities that would generate more revenue resources and increase the company's profitability.

  1. Providing sales-related support to sales staff, completing administrative tasks related to operational activities, and implementing new policies to make the sales process more efficient.
  2. They also manage cooperation with cross-functional teams to introduce new products or services.
  3. Deal with logistics issues and use their project management skills to reach all organizational goals.
  4. Interact with other production and department managers to form a cohesive concept for release and improve sales processes.
  5. Handle order process activities, package coordination, and support for escalated customer service issues.
  6. Keep accurate records of receipts, invoices, and items sold in a company database.
  7. They are in charge of motivating other sales staff to increase their sales, as well as maintaining excellent business relationships with internal team leaders, external partners, and vendors.
  8. Provide performance reviews, facilitate training efforts, and act as a mentor to implement improved sales techniques.
  9. Compile and distribute sales data for strategic and major accounts, measuring sales objectives and current company promotions.
  10. Recommend and develop new sales strategies, promotional events, budgets, and new sales potential.
  11. Product statistical reports for sales, marketing, and management.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a similar field is required for this position.
  • Previous managerial and customer service experience is necessary.
  • Sales and leadership certifications may be preferred.
  • Must have strong communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask on a variety of projects.
  • They must have extensive knowledge of supply-demand planning as well.
  • Locate and analyze sales trends, service areas, and sales opportunities based on compiled data.
