Sr. Android Engineer

We are on the lookout for a Sr. Android Developer to join our elite team of innovators, creators, and disruptors in the event and influencer marketing industry. Responsibilities * Lead the development and maintenance of the Client's Android application, ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features that align with the client's mission and user needs
* Implement clean, modern, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices in Android development
* Integrate with backend services to ensure a seamless operation between the app's frontend and backend functionalities
* Utilize the latest Android SDKs and tools to enhance the app's capabilities and user experience
* Manage the Android app lifecycle, including application development, testing, deployment, and post-launch updates and maintenance
* Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing by staying abreast of new technology trends and best practices in Android development
* Participate in code reviews and advocate for high coding standards across the team



Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
* 5+ years of experience in Android development, with a strong portfolio of released applications on the Google Play Store
* Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Java and Jetpack Compose
* Deep understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes and resolutions
* Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, including Material Design
* Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
* Familiarity with cloud message APIs, push notifications, and continuous integration
* Strong understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
