Position: Email Marketing Developer (Web Development Specialist Lvl 3)Work shift: 8PM to 5AM (PH Time) | Monday to FridayWork setup: Hybrid (1 or 2x in a week RTO)Work location: Ortigas, Pasig CityTimezone: APAC/EMEAType: Full timeJob Summary: Our Web Development Specialist/ Email Marketing Developer is responsible for driving the production process of an email marketing campaign. This includes involvement in the technical aspects of the campaign's development, quality assurance, deployment, and maintenance. Key Deliverables: ● Email campaign development and setup through the use of marketing cloud platforms. ● Email templates/bespoke builds, landing pages with tracked URLs & forms. ● The browser and email client tests, and personalization testing. ● Setup of the webinar campaigns ● Maintenance of websites using CMS Success Metrics ● Quality of work: Overall quality of work considering the execution of the brief, adherence to process and timelines, application of best practice in coding ● Turnaround time: Adherence to agreed deadlines - ex. Late submissions/Total scheduled submissions < 2% ● Accuracy: Adherence to job scope and processes - ex. Submissions returned for errors/Total submissions < 10% ● Effective communication (coms score): Responsiveness, clarity of communication over calls and emails, ability to raise issues and request for assistance early in the process to prevent major issues. ● Effective collaboration (collaboration score): Ability to integrate with client teams, making it easy for working smoothly and seamlessly with the Email Marketing DeveloperKey Responsibilities Technical ● Responsible for the development and execution of responsive marketing emails (templates/bespoke) that render beautifully across devices and all major email clients. ● Setting up email campaigns and their components based from the client’s request ● Responsible for Landing Page creation and content update using CMS. ● Responsible for proofing, testing and troubleshooting HTML emails to follow both brand and current code standards. ● Responsible for troubleshooting campaign technical issues ● Utilizing all tools and platforms used for the email campaign execution Quality ● Perform thorough QA to ensure that there are no errors and that emails render properly across all major devices and email clients, ● Identify issues with campaign assets - such as when assets are missing or are not of the quality required - and communicate these back to the client, stressing the importance of guidelines and processes, and following up with a recommendation as necessary. Task Management ● Prioritize projects based on deadlines, workload, client direction, asking for help as needed. ● Proactively work to set and manage expectations, ensuring that the client is aware of what can be delivered given the team’s skill sets and current workload. ● Able to lead large and complex projects successfully and interface with client projects to define requirements, project timelines and collaborate to define project scope. Client Relationship ● Work closely with stakeholders across the marketing and creative teams to create email templates and assets, perform campaign QA, and drive the email production process. ● Able to identify root cause/s of a problem and develop or recommend a solution● Maintain a professional attitude under stressful situations. ● Able to quickly adapt to new processes and for marketing campaigns.Improvement ● Drive continuous improvement in the production process by contributing to documentation and identifying opportunities to optimize the process. ● Stay on top of related new information, skills and techniques related to the email production process and adapt these where they can benefit the process and the client.Key Skills & Knowledge ● Highly skilled and with at least 3 years of continuous experience in frontend development/email marketing development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and media queries; ● Has experience with the email marketing automation platform Eloqua ● Detail-oriented. This role requires strong attention to detail. ● Time management & prioritization; ● Communication - both verbal & written ● Self-disciplined & self-managed, can work under minimal supervision ● Process oriented, Team Player, Proactive Education ● Graduates of Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent are preferred; Experience ● Experience in working with design authoring tools such as Adobe Photoshop; ● Prior experience in working within an enterprise-level ESP (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Eloqua Marketing Cloud). ● Understanding of responsive development, through the use of media queries.Key Characteristics ● Effective communication: Able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels of the business and to various stakeholder groups.
