This position is responsible for ensuring that we have continued growth of our on-line community and working to use a variety of web based platforms to reach out, connect and bring valuable information and relationships to our audience. The position is an expansion position so the successful applicant will need to bring experience and ideas to the company for implementation. Responsibilities & Duties
- Build a community around the Potomac Officers Club brand where followers engage with the content becoming mavens for the events.
- Create and post relevant content to reach and engage with existing followers and drive follower and engagement growth
- Use company generated content, like images, articles and video in creative ways to engage and grow audiences.
- Oversee the creation and use of collateral used across social media outlets (ie: LinkedIn pictures, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, to align with brand standards).
- Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales
- Provide a monthly report on the results generated with social media outlets.
- Report conversions generated with social media across all channels.
- May need to participate in and engage in live interactions during our events in EST Time.
Qualifications & Skills
- Measure and grow our footprint on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as measured by subscriber numbers and web activity.
- Use social media to drive awareness and participation in our US-based events.
- Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns
- Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts
- Demonstrate ability to map out marketing strategy and then drive that strategy proven by testing and metrics
- Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
- Successfully integrate social media data into our enterprise Salesforce.com CRM
- Maintain confidentiality of all data
Education & Experience:
Must have a Bachelor's degree holder in either IT, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or any related fields. The person must also have at least 4-6 years of experience in social media management, with a focus on LinkedIn and X, and be at ease working with a number of different accounts.
Communication & Other Desired Skills:
- Must be able to comfortably and effectively communicate (verbal and written) with members, their staffs, internal employees
- Salesforce.com, Cvent or other Event Management software preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills – able to multitask
- Highly organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of InDesign or other Adobe creative tools is a plus.
Schedule: 3:00pm-12:00am, PH Time (subject to change on days when engaging in live interactions during our events in EST Time)
