1ST Shift lead Diesel Technician

This position has the potential for advancement to a Service Manager role for the right candidate.

Day Shift - Tuesday - Saturday

Responsibilities

• Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers and drivers
• Interact with customers and handle requests
• Schedule PM's
• Close Work Orders
• Using basic computer skills to track and enter repair data
• Performing preventative maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment
• Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions and chassis components
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Learn new skills through Truckway’s technician training
• Pick up and/or deliver equipment for maintenance

Qualifications

• Experiences Diesel Technician
• Must have a CDL  
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
• Self-motivated and professional
• Must be able to work independently
