We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Operations to oversee and optimize our company's operational activities. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for streamlining processes, implementing best practices, and managing cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and achieve business goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure smooth workflow across departments
- Collaborate with executives and department heads to align operational plans with overall business objectives
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize operations
- Manage and develop cross-functional teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
- Identify and mitigate operational risks and implement contingency plans
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to optimize inventory management and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance and establish strong relationships with key suppliers
- Act as a liaison between different departments to promote effective communication and collaboration
- -Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; MBA preferred
- Experience managing 40+ employees
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in using operational management software and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple projects
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement solutions
- Must have experience in E-commerce
- Proficiency with systems and project management (Tools like Monday or Clickup, maybe automations knowledge with zapier, etc)
