Do you love food and convenience put together? We are currently looking for a Sales Operations Specialist (Data Analytics) to join our team.

foodpanda brings good food into the everyday, whether delivering on our signature pink bikes or serving insights into the newest food trends and showcasing local favorite restaurants. We operate in 12 countries in Asia. Through the energy of our riders and the teams in all of our office spaces, we connect lovers of food to our brilliant partner restaurants. We are operated by Delivery Hero, the global leader in the food delivery industry, processing over 1 million orders everyday and operating in 40+ markets in the world, with 17,000 employees and approximately 200,000+ restaurant partners. 

However this doesn’t happen without some really awesome people. This is why we are looking for a Sales Operations Specialist (Data Analytics) to join our growing team!

What’s on the menu for you to do:

  • Work alongside Sales Operations Team Lead and Sales Management to create scalable processes and prioritize opportunities for improvement. 
  • Develop and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to provide visibility into operations performance
  • Monitor performance indicators of business, identifying causes/trends and drive data-based decision making through creation of insightful and intuitive reports for users with different technical backgrounds
  • Provide analytical support to important initiatives in order to drive decisions and prioritize efforts
  • Build queries and analyze data to identify trends, root cause issues, and system and process improvement opportunities
  • Coach users on best-practice uses of data and analytics and assist users in finding the right information
  • Translate data into creative and engaging data visualization (i.e. charts and trends) to aid in easy interpretation and better understanding of both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understand data points to provide insights to Sales Management regarding sales performance and operational improvements.
  • Perform other related functions that may be assigned from time to time

What do you bring to the table?

  • Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering / Statistics / Management Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent
  • Fluent in English language with very good written and verbal communication skills and can present solutions and to multiple audiences and various levels of stakeholders
  • Self-starter, highly resourceful, "hands-on" background with strong problem solving skills with the ability to quickly develop work-arounds and fixes
  • Has the ability to work under tight deadlines and understands the importance of relevant real-time data
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and can thrive in a high-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities and comfortable with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
  • Can create new information-related documents and processes (e.g. work procedures, forms, memos documented information, and process flow) as the need arises
  • Can identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to help leadership team understand where the gaps are, suggest and execute fixes
  • Has experience working with senior management teams (Stakeholder management requiring persuasion / influencing skills); relationship building and negotiation skills and practices high level of confidentiality
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and presentations (PowerPoint, Google Slides) are required
  • Experience in e-commerce is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is preferred
