The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Managed Services team you are going to design, develop, and maintain innovative Python-based applications and microservices. As an Associate you are expected to focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. This role offers a unique chance to deepen your technical knowledge, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build meaningful client connections in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Python applications
- Collaborate with team members to deliver quality solutions
- Engage in troubleshooting and debugging processes
- Participate in project tasks to enhance technical skills
- Analyze data to derive insights and support decision-making
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
- Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
- Support senior staff in various project-related activities
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Python development
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technology field preferred
- Skilled in Python programming and development
- Experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS
- Adept in debugging and problem-solving
- Knowledge of security practices and API authentication
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with data engineering and ETL pipelines
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools
