Our team in Alabang currently has an opening for a Account Manager

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose of the Role

• Manage larger accounts and visit customers on site
• Maximize sales & profit for key / focus customers and assigned industry
• Increase gross profit and product basket of assigned customers and drivecross-sell / range-sell / upsell opportunities
• Identify new business opportunities and monetize business potential withexisting accounts
• Liaises and develops business of supplier partners

Responsibilities

• Customer relationship management: Retention and strengthening of current customers, New customer development and Reactivation of lost customers 
• Portfolio management by actively maintaining & defending current product portfolio/business and introducing new products 
• Business development activities through customer innovation/renovation presentations in conjunction with innovation & application team
• Other Admin (e.g., other required system/input updates and pricemanagement)

Interfaces

• Internal:
  Commercial teams within and outside of business unit includingcustomer service team
  Supply Chain, QSHE, HR and Admin
  Regional commercial team and commercial affiliates within APAC asmay be required
• External:
  Supplier partners
  Customers across different functions
  Regulatory and certification agencies (as applicable)

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 2 years relevant sales experience in food ingredient distribution industry, preferably from a multinational company
• Should have relevant experience and knowledge in the beverage and/or dairy industry in a commercial or technical capacity
• Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, Filipino and English
• Good analytical and negotiation skills
• Knowledge in CRM systems an advantage
